I obtained a master’s degree in Marketing from KEDGE Business school in Bordeaux. After my studies I worked as an Assistant Project Manager in Marketing for the SPC Group, leader in the F&B industry. From this experience I learned how to meet consumers’ expectations regarding quality and innovation. I am happy to say that I successfully adapted to working in a multicultural team and environment.

Following this, I wanted to extend my international experience. I currently work for Pernod Ricard Korea as Champagne Brand Manager for the brands G.H. Mumm and Perrier Jouët. Working at Pernod Ricard has been an all-round mission: amongst others, I worked on the strategic and brand development plan, launched the new “G.H Mumm N1 range”, managed PR, luxury partnership and other similar activities. By providing support to sales team with the necessary tools and brand information, I was able to develop sales promotions. I ensured the brand visibility and the activation of the Champagne brands, which contributed to promotion and increased the brand awareness in South Korea. As you can tell, the scope of my job is indeed quite wide, with a broad range of partners to work with, such as restaurants, bars and night clubs, but also art centers and luxury companies.

My experience in South Korea has been a very significant part of my career. I have developed and pushed further my abilities to adapt to a drastically different culture, while enhancing my flexibility and strengthening my multitasking skills. Far out of my comfort zone, I intensively developed my professional skills in Brand Management, but also on an interpersonal scale, discovering that I am surpassing my own expectations.

Through the various responsibilities I learned the values of team work and could strengthen my understanding of the product through a French “Savoir-Faire”. Those skills, together with the ability to learn quickly, enabled me to make a positive and efficient contribution to the company.

Management of Champagne Brands: G.H Mumm and Perrier Jouët (VIE)

• Strategic and brand plan development:
- Launching new product: market analysis, targets, channel, pricing set up for G.H Mumm N1 range and Perrier Jouët Belle Epoque Luminous edition
- Development of each brand platform following the global guidelines
- Sales promotions development: provide support to sales team with necessary tools and brand information
- Achieve targets: volume and A&P needed
- Implements promotions and visibility projects in the ON&OFF Trade channels for the key projects
- Setting of Brand KPIs: market share, volume, ROI, brand awareness
- BTL activities: in-store visibility campaigns, promotions and flagships programs

• External communication: PR, partnership with luxury brands, sponsoring
- Effective collaboration with PR agencies to follow up PR events execution (French Gourmet Festival, Seoul Gourmet, Tongyeong International Music Festival, Opera Gallery)
- Collaboration with Sales, Trade marketing and International teams

• Creation of Perrier-Jouët Iconic Champagne Bar:
- Paradise City Casino (2-year project/200K€)
- Perrier-Jouët Exclusive Bar in Shinsegae Duty Free shops across Korea (3-year project/100K€)

• Digital skills:
My generation is Y, which makes me highly aware of the current trends, past trends, how things have changed, and how digital has shaped our society, as it has shaped me. In Pernod Ricard Korea we launched our new Digital department this year, and due to the small size of the team I was able to keep track of every single one of their activities, the launching of the Absolut brand app and a number of other projects. I participated in some of their workshops and joined their SNS Internal competition. They developed an E-CRM strategy and strengthened our corporate website as well as several SNS brand platforms. Our proximity allowed me to learn from their work while doing mine. I feel confident to say that I learned from them and further built on my digital background.
