* As Senior Hospitality Advisor at Citystar Private Equity Asia (Real Estate/Hospitality Development), secured MOU with Hotel Management Companies on six sites in Cambodia. Instrumental in creating first luxury resort/estate on the Cambodian Riviera: ALILA Villas Koh Russey opening in 2018. Pursuing similar projects with 5 other hotel companies.

With full P&L responsibility for Asia Pacific, developed and implemented turnaround strategy,
managed Operations (9 resorts, 3,000 people), Sales and Marketing (250,000 clients, € 250 M from
11 countries in region), finance, HR, legal, asset development & management, retail and sourcing.
- Pioneered new upscale strategy in Asia Pacific in 2002
o Upscale and broader offer based on upgraded facilities/services and freedom of choice
o Higher price positioning consistent with new service/experience offering
o Revamped distribution network with stronger emphasis on direct internet bookings and high
value online partners
o Dynamic guest segmentation to ensure higher occupancy levels all year round with much
deeper penetration of Asian markets
o New Asia Pacific strategy led to current Club Med repositioning in the rest of the world.
- Achieved top performance in 2006 (Revenue +42% vs. 2005 and best since 2000) and strong start
in 2007 (growth >+35%)
- Opened China market in 2003 and India in 2005 to expand client base in high growth markets.
- Renovated Malaysian resort of Cherating Beach in 2004 as the new strategy flagship. Clinched
Best Five Star Resort and Best Ambiance Spa awards in 2004.
- Successfully redesigned and launched fully renovated Kani (Maldives) and Phuket (Thailand)
resorts in 2005. Performed significant refurbishment of all other Club Med resorts in Asia Pacific.
- Completely reorganized regional and country teams. Major infusion of new talents at all levels
accompanied by aggressive training and development plans to ensure implementation of
redefined service and operational standards.
- Led crisis management plans during major upheavals: SARS, Bali bombings, Avian Flu, Tsunami.

Full P&L responsibility for Oregon Scientific (Group own brand) product development, sourcing, QC,
sales and marketing activities globally (Sales HK$ 1.0 billion, 250 people):
- Created and led Oregon Scientific global brand strategy around the “the @rt of living” concept
- Doubled business in two years by creating and directly managing 12 subsidiaries in North and
South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
- Secured Global License agreement with Mattel to drastically expand Electronic Toy business
