Responsibilities as Financial controller (90%)
Cost monitoring
• Development of a standard rate cost control for specific projects
• Monitors and ensures that expenditures are within the approved budget and costs are properly allocated to the corresponding projects / Staff codes
• Coordinates with projects managers / operations team to prepare monthly accruals figures to ensure that costs and revenues reflect the current activities of the projects
Reporting
• Review month-end accounting journal entries (sales accruals, ESB/Loyalty bonus accruals, etc.)
• Pre-closing analytical analysis (by country and by project) to identify anomalies on production, gross margin, MCO, general expenses and EBIT
• Analyse month-end results by project (actual figures vs initial pricing) and by country (actual figures vs budgets)
• Preparation of all accounting and financial reports for the French head office: Monthly three-month cash forecast, reporting package “liasse file” (to identify discrepancies and reconcile balance sheets), client financing package (overdue analysis), flash V1/V2/V3 (order, invoicing and production comparison with the forecast and reforecast)
Budget
• Preparation of budgets and reforecast two times a year
Responsibilities as internal controller (5%)
Internal audit implementation around Middle East and Asia pacific to ensure that IFRS rules as well as Group standards policy are enforced. Covered field:
• IC14 – Treasury: task separation, bank signatories’ review, payment process, etc.
• IC15 – Credit management: coordination at Group and subsidiary level, doubtful debt assessment process, etc.
• IC16 – Accounting and Tax: inventory, intra-group reconciliation, tax files and audit trails, etc.
• IC17 – Operations control: valuation rules for sales orders, budget rules, etc.
Responsibilities as “Head office support” (5%)
• Accounting team supervision: ongoing training/guidance for subsidiaries on accounting issues
• ERP software implementation (SAGEX3) in a new subsidiary in Korea
• Critical tasks preparation such as transfer pricing documentation in Malaysia and Australia

• Complete bookkeeping (purchase module, sales module and AP-AR module)
